The Labor Day holiday is coming up this weekend. People will be making plans to go out of town or since football is starting this weekend, they will be heading out to local high school football games and McNeese will also be playing here in Lake Charles.

Federal and state offices will be closing, like the City Of Lake Charles, to celebrate the holiday so that means your trash or garbage pickup schedule will change as well. We wanted to give you the heads-up for the residents of Lake Charles that during the Labor Day holiday, your trash day and time pickup will be changed.
