Travis Matte & Johnny Jimenez Performing for Rodeo’s Gator Night

The 81st SW District Livestock Show and Rodeo begins January 30 and runs through February 1. Gator night this year will be on Friday, January 31. This year, we are bringing even more friends to kick off a weekend of amazing rodeo action.

Before the doors even open, join us at the main entrance into Burton as SWLA's very own Johnny Jimenez performs on the back of the Luxury Limo Buddy Russ Bus. Also at the bus, you will be able to pick up your official Gator 99.5 paper airplane to fold and throw during intermission for your chance to win some amazing prizes like concert tickets and even crawfish!

As you pick up your paper airplane, you will also have a chance to sign up for four tickets to get into our Gator 99.5 Big Game Party at Walk-On's the next day. Johnny will perform from the bus until the doors open into the rodeo, so plan on arriving early.

As the doors open, the entertainment isn't finished yet. While you are waiting around for the rodeo to start, Travis Matte and the Kingpins will take the stage and perform a free concert until the rodeo festivities begin. As you watch the concert, get ready to fold your paper airplane up for the intermission. During intermission, we will take the dirt as you throw your perfect airplanes out to us. We will randomly draw three planes for tickets to Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, and a top prize of a catered crawfish boil from Mr. Bill's Seafood Express!
