Update: Mike & Scotty Have Lost A Person On Their Weight Loss Journey

Back in December of 2024, I started my weight loss journey to get healthy and feel better. Scotty started his back in September of 2024, so he got a jump on me. We teamed up with Healthy Size in Lake Charles to help us reach our goals of how much weight we wanted to lose.

Going into this, I was a little scared because I didn't know what to expect, but when I went for my first visit and they took my blood pressure and told me the results, it opened my eyes up real quick. My blood pressure was so high that they told me I needed to go to the emergency room right then or call my doctor asap.

I decided then and there that I needed to lose weight, not only to look and feel better but for my overall health. Scotty was the same. Since Scotty started, he has been taken off some of his medication by his doctor. I say that is a win by itself.

So, where are we now? We are happy to report that Scotty started his journey and weighed in a 368 pounds. Since September, Scotty has lost a staggering 80 pounds and now weighs 288 pounds. Plus, like I said, he is also off a bunch of his medication that he was having to take when he weighed 368 pounds.

I started in December 2024 and weighed in at 276 pounds. I currently weigh 216 pounds, which means I have lost 60 pounds since I started. So if you add up my weight loss and Scotty's, we have lost a total of 140 pounds combined. That is the weight of a person, hence the title of this story. We have lost an actual person.
