Will Matt Walker Stadium Be Ready for the Sulphur Tors’ 2015 Season?

It looks like construction delays have put a kink in the September 18 home game for the Suphur Golden Tors football team.

The first game at the new stadium was scheduled for September 18 against Iowa, but now its been moved to Thursday, September 17. The game will be play in Westlake.

Crews began laying artificial turf yesterday. Because of this delay, school officals are moving around upcoming game dates and locations for the Tors.

The Sulphur Tors travel to Washington Marion tomorrow night. The Tors will try to get their first victory of the year after a loss in their season opener against St. Thomas More. Keep track of this game and all the other scores with the Southwest Scoreboard.
