My friend Mike has a beautiful and grumpy bulldog. She seems to not have a single care in the world. Well, that's until you decided it's time to cut her nails. I have seen this dog drink a beer and take down a burrito in a single bite. When the nail clippers come out, she becomes the fastest thing on four paws!

When I was in middle school, I had the pleasure of working for a veterinarian's office on the weekends. Mostly, I would clean cages and bathe dogs on Saturdays. Every once in a while, I would get invited into the exam rooms to help one of the doctors. That's where I sort of perfected my animal nail clipping skills. Sometimes we would have to distract the animal with treats or toys. Other times, some sweet talk would work. I never really had a huge issue with trimming a dog's nails, until ole grumpy pants.

We were sitting on Mike's back porch the other evening, and his wife mentioned some peanut butter video she saw on Facebook where a lady smears peanut butter on her forehead that has been wrapped in cling wrap. Then, her dog goes to town on the peanut butter and seems to pay the manicure no mind at all. We decided to give it a shot and the results? Well, take a look for yourself!
