
2025 Gueydan Duck Festival Entertainment Lineup Released
[KNGT-FM] - July and August every year seem to be the time that some of the largest festivals take place, with unbelievable music lineups. In July, Southwest Louisiana gets ready for the Coushatta Crossroads Festival on July 19th in Kinder, Louisiana. Then the very next weekend, the 2025 Marshland Festival in Lake Charles will take place for two straight days.
Then, coming up in August of this year, get ready for the legendary Duck Festival taking place in Gueydan, Louisiana. The festival takes place in downtown Gueydan and lasts for four straight days. This year's festival will take place starting on Thursday, August 21st, and runs through Sunday, August 24th, 2025.
The festival started back in 1977 and has been going strong since, with its signature events and bringing in the who's who in Cajun and Country music every year for people to sing along and dance to.
The duck festival features live music, dog trials, outdoor cooking contests, duck calling contests, skeet shooting contests, and a huge carnival. The entertainment lineup brings in the best local and national talent for four straight days.
