Today is Martin Luther King Jr. day. Here is a man who preached non-violent reform. Though he was featured on national media and drew a lot of attention, his stage was certainly never as big as the one held by the President of the United States. He would have been proud to see a black man elected president because that is a huge statement about race relations. But has Obama's election proved to be a step forward or a step backward.
