The Chennault airshow is coming back to Lake Charles in the summer of 2021 and is tentatively set for June 5-6 at the Chennault airfield. It was announced yesterday that headlining the airshow this year will be the Navy's Blue Angels.

The Blue Angels will feature new aircraft as they perform the heart-stopping show. The coolest thing the Blue Angels do during their show is fly so close to each other in formation to the point where they look like they are going hit each other. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The airshow in Lake Charles came back a few years ago after not having the event for years. Along with the Blue Angles, get ready for other cool aircraft that will be featured during the event.

There will be the Liberty Jump Team, Aeroshell, Kevin Coleman Aerosports, C-47 aircraft, and the shockwave jet truck, just to name a few.

There will also be a bunch of exhibits you can enjoy, such as the Dreambig Cockpit simulator, a T-38 aircraft, a B-52, a helicopter, and your kids can enjoy the kids zone with jumps and all sorts of cool stuff.

So get ready, Lake Charles. One of the coolest shows all year is coming back to the lake area.
