Things To Know Before You Go To The Marshland Festival In Lake Charles
The 2024 edition of the Marshland Festival is heading your way this weekend July 26th and 27th inside the Lake Charles Event Center in Lake Charles. The weekend will be packed full of great food, live music on two stages, and a ton of fun.
The Marshland Festival originated in Hackberry, Louisiana, first at the Hackberry Community Center before moving to Lake Charles and the event center. The festival has been voted as one of the top 20 festivals in the Southeastern United States and it always packs a good time.

If you plan on attending the 2024 Marshland festival there are some things you need to know before you go. The Marshland Festival posted things you need to be aware of before entering the Lake Charles Event Center and the festival.
UPDATE 10:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2024
All the ATMs inside the Lake Charles Event Center are empty and will not be filled back up until Monday. Stop and get cash if needed before heading to the festival. Cash only at the front door to enter but once inside the festival you can use cash or card.

We just found out that the clear bag policy will not be enforced this year.
