Brooks & Dunn Coming To Lafayette Cajundome In June

Country music duo and legends Brooks & Dunn are coming back to Louisiana for a huge concert.  We just made the big announcement on the air that Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn will be live in concert on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 in Lafayette at the Cajundome.

Kix Brooks, who is 66 years old, was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and his real name is Leon Eric Brooks III. Ronnie Dunn was born in Coleman, Texas and he is 68 years old.

The duo was formed by the suggestion of Tim Dubois. Kix Brooks & Ronnie Dunn were both solo country artists when they teamed up in 1990. Who would have known that when these two guys came together they would become one of the most successful duos in country music history?

Brooks & Dunn have released 50 singles in their career and 20 of them went all the way to number one on the Hot Country Songs charts. What is even more impressive is that they had an additional 19 singles that cracked the top 10. So 39 of the 50 singles in their career have been at least a top 10 hit.

Songs like Brand New Man, My Next Broken Heart, Neon Moon, Boot Scootin' Boogie, Hard Working Man are classics.

Then there are all the other phenomenal songs from the duo like My Maria, She Used To Be Mine, That Aint No Way To Go, She's Not The Cheatin' Kind, and the duet with Reba for the song If You See Him/If You See Her.
