People are getting creative when it comes to their waffle making by adding chocolate, nuts, and fruit to the batter. Some leave the waffle plain and just add toppings. One of my favorite toppings is fried chicken with honey butter.

If you are a brownie fan, here is a new way to enjoy that guilty pleasure. Brownie waffles let you enjoy dessert for breakfast, and who doesn't want that?

The recipe is quick and easy. Dump the the brownie batter into a large mixing bowl, then add a 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt. Add three eggs to the bowl, along with 1/3 cup of cooking oil, and five tablespoons of melted butter. Mix all ingredients. Some bakers suggest adding a splash of Coke, Dr. Pepper or non-flavored seltzer; you won't regret it.

Get wild and crazy by folding in brownie favorites like nuts and chocolate chips or marshmallow for you rocky road lovers. Now you're ready to add your brownie batter to your heated waffle maker. Once it is done, you even can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzle.
