Movie and TV legend Burth Reynolds passed away at the age of 82 today while in a hospital in Florida. He was rushed to the hospital earlier today for cardiac arrest.

In 2010, Reynolds underwent heart surgery and recovered just fine, as he went on to act in upcoming movie called Defining Moments. He was currently filming another movie along side Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio called Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Most of us will know him from Smokey and The Bandit, Hooper, and even All Dogs go to Heaven. Reynolds got his start on the small screen in shows such as Gunsmoke and Dan August. He finally rose to fame as Lewis Medlock in Deliverence.

He leaves behind over 200 movie and film credits and is survived by his son.

The Bandit will truly be missed as he heads Northbound and down.
