Calcasieu Parish COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing to Continue

Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has announced COVID-19 testing will continue at the Burton Complex. Reminder. This is a drive-thru testing site.

Testing will continue from April 14 through April 30. Residents should be aware that testing will be preformed from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The only days you will be able to get tested are Tuesday-Thursday of these dates: April 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30.

Residents may begin lining up at 8:30am at the Burton Coliseum Complex, located at 7001 Gulf Highway in Lake Charles. Residents getting tested should have a driver’s license or state-issued identification along with any medical insurance information they might have.

Residents of Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jeff Davis are eligible for testing and a doctor referral is not needed.

Criteria for testing eligibility includes:

* Fever

AND requires one other symptom below:

* Shortness of breath

* Cough

* Body aches

* Sore throat

* Runny nose

No one under 16 years of age will be tested, no pets allowed, no public restrooms, and only two people per vehicle who must sit in the front seat to be tested.
