Cinco De Mayo Parties In Lake Charles This Thursday, May 5

Cinco De Mayo is coming this Thursday, May 5th and there are a few events going on in the Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles area.

Louisiana folks love to have fun and love to celebrate things. But really, do we really need a reason to go out and listen to live music and have some drinks? I think not.

We have done some investigating and have found some venues in the area that are celebrating the Cinco De Mayo holiday with live music, great food, and drink specials. Here is a list for ya.

Los Ponchos Mexican Grill located at 2555 North Highway 171 in Moss Bluff is having an all-day party starting at 2:00 pm on Thursday. They will have Timmy Dugas, Damon Troy, and Zydecane live from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. 

Then the Honkytonk Mexican Johnny Jimenez will perform from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will also be a $2 draft beer, $2 and $4 Margarita's, and $2 tacos.

The other location of Los Ponchos Mexican Grill on Highway 397 in East Lake Charles will also be doing the same kind of party.  They will have the same food and drink specials plus live music with Rusty James starting at 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm followed by Blake Pickle from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
