City Of Lake Charles Motto Contest

You could have the opportunity to write the motto of the city of Lake Charles!

Mayor Nic Hunter announced that he wants to run a contest, giving the citizens of Lake Charles, a chance to pen the motto of his administration.  A selection committee will select the top submission!

According to the official city website:  Submissions will be accepted online until July 31. The winner will be notified on Friday, August 4, and a special reception will be held on Saturday, August 12, from noon-1 p.m. at 1911 Historic City Hall (1001 Ryan Street.)

Examples include the Roach Administration motto of “Cherishing the Past, Embracing the Future” and the Mount Administration motto of “Moving Forward Together.”
