‘Cobra Kai’ Series Moving to Netflix

This by far was one of my favorite movies series of all time growing up. I remember when the originally Karate Kid came out.

All my friends wanted to take karate, and we were all in love with Ali, played by Elizabeth Shue, and rooting for Daniel Larusso, played by Ralph Macchio. We were happy to have a few movies in the popular series growing up.

So in 2018, when then YouTube announced they were bringing back the two main characters in the film for a new series called Cobra Kai, fans of the original movies were excited.

The series features Daniel Larusso and Johnny, his arch-rival, all grown up. They get reunited by chance, then it is on.

It launched in 2018 with the first season and aired on YouTube's subscription service, YouTube Red, followed by a second season in 2019. However, it was recently announced that the popular series has a new home.

Later this year, Cobra Kai is moving to Netflix for a third season. Don't worry if you haven't seen the first two seasons, as Netflix says the new season and the first two seasons will be available to watch later this year.
