Cody Johnson Congratulates Rodeo Houston on Milestone

Texas native and country music superstar Cody Johnson took some time out of his day to video a congratulations for Rodeo Houston. The program has now donated more than $500 million since 1932 to the Texas youth and education.

Johnson was one of the entertainers this past year for the Houston rodeo and sold it out in almost record time when it was announced. He acknowledges that fact and talks about how growing up in the "shadow of the Astrodome" was always a treat to go and see the rodeo each year. Now, he was able to perform at the rodeo and it was an honor.

Could this be foreshadowing to another Cody Johnson concert during the 2020 Houston Rodeo? Only time will tell.
