Country music star Gary Allan will be live in Lake Charles and will perform at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Friday night. He will take the stage starting at 8:30 pm that night.

The Bon Temp festival is taking place on the St. Theresa church grounds located at 4822 Carlyss Drive in Carlyss, Louisiana. The festival gets underway on Friday, September 19th, and runs through Sunday, September 21, 2025. Jamie Bergeron, Mark Reeves, Boomerang, Zydecane, and more are scheduled to perform. Farmers' Markets are going on Saturday morning all across Southwest Louisiana, including Lake Charles and Moss Bluff. Both markets are open from 8:00 am until Noon on Saturday morning. The Lake Charles market is situated behind historic City Hall in downtown Lake Charles. The one in Moss Bluff is located at 325 Sam Houston Jones Parkway. You can shop with the entire family for unique items while also getting fresh fruits and vegetables.
