Country's Midland Is Coming Back To Lake Charles In Concert

[KNGT-FM] - Another great country concert is heading your way in 2025. It was just announced that country music group Midland is making its return to Lake Charles for a big show. This will be the first time the band has performed in Lake Charles since 2022, when they played a pool party.

Midland hit the country music scene back in 2016. The country music trio is from Dripping Springs, Texas, and includes members Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy, and Jess Carson. The band was named after the Dwight Yoakam song Fair to Midland.

Midland is currently signed with Big Machine Records and has been with the label since 2014. The band is known for the hits Drinkin' Problem, Burn Out, Make a Little, Mr. Lonely, Cheatin' Songs, Sunrise Tells the Story, and Longneck Way to Go.

In 2017, they released the song Drinkin' Problem hit the top 5 on the country charts and to date has been their biggest hit. Another great song is Mr. Lonely. The video stars someone who may look very familiar to you. Actor Dennis Quaid stars in it, and the video is hilarious. Check it out.

How funny. You can have your chance to see Midland sing both of those songs, along with so many more, when they make a stop in Lake Charles later this year. It was announced yesterday that Midland will perform live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center.

Midland will be at the Golden Nugget on Friday, November 21, 2025, and hit the stage at 8:30 pm that night. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10:00 am.
