Cowboys and Ragin Cajuns to Take the Field

September 5, 2020 is the date. Announced today, McNeese and ULL will head to the field and duke it out again. For the second time in a 5 year time, these old rivals will go at it again.

The rivalry began in the 50s and ran all the way to 1986 until ULL moved up to Div 1-A. 21 years after, the teams competed again at Cowboy Stadium in 2007. The Pokes strung out a win of 38-17 that year in front of over 33,000 fans. That made it the 5th largest attended game in the history of the stadium.

This will be the 39th time the teams have met and should be a great game to watch. McNeese will walk out victorious either way by receiving a guarantee from the game, with ticket sales to come later.
