This Saturday is the game that LSU and Alabama fans circle on the calendar, as the #1 Alabama Crimson Tide head to Baton Rouge for a prime time match up at 7:00pm. This game is so big that even ESPN is getting into the mix.

ESPN college game day started in 1987, in the ESPN studios. They didn't take the show out on location to college campuses until 1993. Since then, the popular show has been covering big games all over country.

ESPN's college game day has done their show at a LSU game site 26 times so far in the show's run, and they have been to Baton Rouge 12 times.

Game Day will air this Saturday from 8:00am to 11:00pm, from Baton Rouge. They will be there to feature #1 Alabama against #15 LSU. The game kicks off later that night at 7:00pm, and will be televised nationally on CBS.
