Free Child Seat Check Event In DeRidder Hosted By LSP

Coming up this Saturday August 10th, you will have the opportunity to be updated on the latest laws that have to do with child safety seats.

The Louisiana State police Troop D along with the Beauregard Parish sheriff's office will be hosting a free child safety seat check event in Deridder, Louisiana.  The event is to educate you on the proper restraints and seats to use for your child.

Last month, there were some new laws past concerning car seats and the size you will need to have depending on the size, height and weight of your child.

The Louisiana State police and Beauregard Sheriff's Office will be on hand to answer any questions you have and also to check your seat and let you know if you have the proper seat for your child.

So make sure to attend this Saturday August 10th, 2019 at Green Chevrolet located at 307 East First Street in DeRidder from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
