Gator 99.5 & Avail Hospital Helps Southwest Louisiana Families

It's the season of giving and that is exactly what Gator 99.5 and Avail Hospital in Lake Charles wanted to do for families in need this holiday season.

All last week, Gator 99.5 asked you to nominate a family you knew was in need this holiday season. You submitted your nominations on the Gator 99.5 mobile app and then Mike & Chad in the mornings announced each winner by calling that person and letting them know that Gator 99.5 and Avail Hospital wanted to help them for the holidays.

Each person received $500 and four tickets to the Holiday at Ford Park in Beaumont.  Avial also gave them a Christmas Ham and a gift basket full of great goodies.

Well last night, Mike Soileau, Chad Austin, and Your Buddy Russ along with Ashton and her krewe from Avail Hospital met with all our winners to give them their gift.

These families are just some of the deserving families in Southwest Louisiana that also need help.  We wish we could have helped every person who entered or that was nominated.
