So last weekend I had the privilege of emceeing the 5th annual Coushatta Carnival and music festival in Kinder, Louisiana.  The lineup of entertainment was awesome with The Molly Ringwalds on Thursday night, Country music legend Ronnie McDowell Friday night and Glen Templeton who by the way sounds just like Conway Twitty on Saturday night.

I had the opportunity to meet Glen Saturday night and get to talk to him.  Let me tell you guys, he is one of the nicest guys I have ever met in the music industry.  He was so down to earth and wanted to know about me.  That is rare!

Well Saturday night, Glen hit the stage and just rocked the crowd for 75 minutes with some of his original stuff and of course his signature Conway Twitty songs with a voice that if you closed your eyes you would swear you were hearing Conway Twitty singing!

The crowd was on edge just anticipating him singing his versions of Conway.  Glen's band left the stage and it was just him and his rhythm guitar player and he started singing That's my Job by Conway which was great.  But everyone was waiting for him to sing Goodbye Time which has gotten by the way almost 1 million views on YouTube.

My buddy Mike McVey posted this video to my Facebook Page and I wanted to share with you Glen Templeton's performance of 'Goodbye Time' from last Saturday night.
