Houston Astros Could Punch Their Ticket To ALCS Today
The Houston Astros have a had a storybook season already this year. They won the American League West division, and won 101 games in the regular season. Plus, add what Hurricane Harvey did to the Houston area, and the team has a lot to play for.
The Astros took a quick 2 games to none lead over the Boston Red Sox over the weekend in the American league divisional series. Yesterday, however, the Boston's bats came alive, and they beat the Astros 10-3 to extend the best of 5 games series to game #4.
Game 4 is today in Boston, and will start at noon. If the Astros win, they will head to the American League Championship Series (ALCS), and take on the winner of the Cleveland/NY Yankees series.
If Houston loses today, it will force a game 5, and the series would shift back to Houston.
The game today at noon will be televised on FS1.
