The movie was sweet and cute, and it made me desperately crave Christmas in Acadiana. We have such a wonderful way of bringing out the beauty of our area.

I had a chance to communicate with Marco Baez, who plays "Felipe" in "Love Reins for Christmas," and he said he has lived in Acadiana for 30 years, and people are so giving when they find out you are filming a movie in our Acadiana area.

And I have always said, "We have a wealth of talent right here in Acadiana." Baez says it's amazing to film here at home,

One of the things I love most about filming in Acadiana is definitely the people. Everyone is so willing to help, from local business owners to people throughout the community. There’s just a real sense of support here. The culture, the people, and the talent we have right here at home are what make Acadiana such a special place to film.
