For Louisiana football fans the "big game" also known as the National Football League Championship game between the Chiefs of Kansas City and the 49ers of San Francisco was just a game. Since most of us didn't have a team in the fight most of us watched the game for the commercials.

For those who did watch the game, it did turn out to be a rather entertaining football game. The play on the field was matched only by the celebrity sightings in the stands and when it came down to it the game ended with just about everybody on their feet.

The Chiefs finally won the game after taking the 49ers to overtime to claim their third league championship in five years. It was also Kansas City's second championship in a row.

One of the advertisers on the big game telecast was Buffalo Wild Wings. The eatery known for having multiple televisions and a wide selection of chicken wings had made a deal with America earlier in February. The chicken chain noted that if the game went into overtime, there would be free chicken wings for America.

How Do I Get My Free Wings from Buffalo Wild Wings?

The date has now officially been locked in and here is the "tweet" from Buffalo Wild Wings with the details.

As you might imagine there are rules and regulations regarding this giveaway but for the most part, they make a lot of sense. For example, the free wings are only being offered between 2 pm and 5 pm local time. The deal is for dine-in or take-out orders only and no other purchase is necessary. There is a limit of one per customer.

The free-wing giveaway does not apply to delivery orders or call-in orders. So, if you want the free wings you're going to have to show up in person. This is what they are hoping you will do and they are also hoping that you will purchase something else while you're there.
