Former LSU quarterback no Cincinnati Bengal saw his rookie season come to an end on Sunday. The Heisman Trophy winner and first overall draft pick suffered a knee injury on Sunday in the game playing the Washington Football team and had to be carted off the field.

The injury occurred in the third quarter when the Bengals were backed up by their end zone when Burrow dropped back to pass when he was sandwiched between two Washington players.

The Bengals backup quarterback Ryan Finley came in to take over for Joe Burrow. The Bengals lost the game game 20-9 to Washington to go to 2-7-1 on the season.

Joe Burrow was starting to heat up this season with the Bengals before his season came to an end. Burrow finishes the season with 13 touchdown passes while he also rushed for three touchdowns. He completed 264 passes for 2688 yards.

Now the question is what is the Bengals going to do?  Will they stay with Finley or will they try and bring in a new quarterback?  We will see soon but sadly they will have to do it without their number one draft pick for the rest of the season.
