Today is country music legend Johnny Cash's birthday.  Born in 1932 he would have turned 86 today.

Known as the "Man In Black", Johnny Cash was and still is one of the most iconic names and sounds in country music.

Johnny Cash released 165 singles in his career with 13 of those going on to be number one songs.

Legendary songs like "I Walk The Line", "Ring Of Fire", Folsum Prison Blues", and "Boy Named Sue" are just some of the songs Johnny gave to the world of country music.

Johnny Cash's sound was so unique that he is currently in five different Hall Of Fame's. Johnny is in the Nashville Songwriters, Country Music, Rock and Roll, Gospel Music and Memphis music Hall Of Fame's.

Johnny Cash died on September 12th, 2003 from complications from diabetes.  Country Music and the World lost one of the greats that day.
