Josh Abbott Band Coming to Golden Nugget

Josh Abbott Band will be rocking the stage at Golden Nugget on Saturday, January 18th @ 8 pm. The Josh Abbott Band is a country group originally from Lubbock,Texas. The band got it's start because Josh, who was attending Texas Tech at the time, decided to put together a band with his fellow fraternity brothers.

The band recorded their first debut album “Scapegoat” in 2008 and later had their sophomore album, She's Like Texas. She's Like Texas, was released in 2010 as a duet with Kacey Musgrave, who at the time was the finalist on Season 5 of Nashville Star. The band's third CD, Small Town Family Dream was the highest chart topper, putting them at #5 on Top Country Albums. The bands most recent album titled "Until My Voice Goes Out", was very personal to Abbott because it included very intimate details ranging from the birth of his daughter, to the sudden death of his father one month into the making of their fifth album.
