Lake Charles Garbage Schedule for Mardi Gras

Just because we won't have parades rolling down the road doesn't mean Mardi Gras isn't being observed. The City of Lake Charles announced all collections for recycling, garbage, and trash will be changed for February 16. Lake Charles City Hall will be closed, and therefore no garage pick up will happen on that day.

If your trash is normally picked up on Tuesdays in Lake Charles, it will be picked up on Wednesday. All other pick-up days will remain the same as normally scheduled. The department of Public Works, Recycling, and the Green Truck will also have the day off, but get right back to work on Wednesday.

Pick-up for all trash on normal days remains the same. All garbage must be placed for its removal by 7:00am on your scheduled day, and it will be collected throughout the day by no later than 7:00pm.
