Two things we love in South Louisiana are Raising Cane's and Chevy Chase and the movie Christmas Vacation. Well, those two things came together this year as Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves teamed up with comedy icon Chevy Chase for a holiday commercial.

Raising Cane's is a Louisiana-based company founded by Todd Graves and Craig Silvey back in August of 1996 and is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Raising Cane's and its concept was part of a college paper that Graves wrote the business plan and Silva turned in to be graded. The paper received a C minus.

After being rejected by several investors, Graves worked as a boilermaker and other jobs to save money for his idea, and then he and Silva got an SBA loan to open their first location.

The first location was opened in Baton Rouge at the intersection of Highland Road and State Street near the LSU campus. Who would have known that their first location would turn into now over 600 locations in the United States, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates?

Fast forward to now, Graves teamed up with comedy legend Chevy Chase who is known for his role as Clark W. Griswald in the National Lampoon Vacation franchise. One of the movies that most folks watch during the holidays is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

In the movie, there is an iconic scene where Clark (Chase) puts up over 25,000 Christmas lights on his house but they wouldn't light. The reprise of that scene and many other moments from the movie in this Raising Cane holiday ad. They even throw in the Wagon Queen Family Truckster which is the iconic car from the original movie.

The video was posted by the YouTube channel. Check it out.

Did you see the car? Do you remember this iconic scene from the movie about the car with Eugene Levy, Chevy Chase, and Anthony Michael Hall?  Check this out.

Funny right?  Enjoy your holidays!
