LSU Football’s SEC Home Opener Against Auburn To Be Nationally Televised

It is never to early to talk football right?  Well it has been announced this week by the Southeastern Conference (SEC) that the LSU Tigers football team's home SEC opener on September 19th against Auburn will be nationally televised.

The Tigers home opener is a non conference contest against the McNeese Cowboys from right here in Lake Charles on September 5th.  But the contest against Auburn on September 19th will be their first conference game at home so that is why it has been picked up to be televised.

Tiber fans are used to 7pm night games at Death Valley but the LSU/Auburn football game has been moved up a 2:30 p.m. afternoon start because the game will be televised on CBS.
