It's been a tough and rough season for the LSU Tigers football team.  The Tigers currently sit at 3-5 overall on the year and are coming off a beat down from the hands of the #1 team in the country the Alabama Crimson Tide 55-17.

LSU lost 10 of their 11 offensive starters from their championship team last year to graduation and the NFL draft.  The defense is also struggling this year with a bunch of younger players starting in place of a bunch of players leaving for the NFL as well.

LSU's three wins this season are against South Carolina, Arkansas and Vanderbilt.  Other than the Vanderbilt game, the Tigers have given up 20 points or more in every game while the offense struggles to find their identity.

It doesn't get any easier for the Tigers this week as they will travel to Gainsville to take on the #6 ranked Florida Gators.  The Gators have already stamped their ticket to play in the SEC championship in Atlanta and will face off against Alabama.

The LSU Florida game time has been announced and the game will be played in primetime in front of a national television audience. The game will kickoff at 6:00pm and be televised on ESPN.

After this game, their is only one more game for LSU in 2020.  The will take on Ole Miss on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Baton Rouge.  Game time has not been set for that game yet.

What is sad is that since LSU is 3-5 on the year and have a losing record, the chances of the Tigers making it to a bowl game are pretty slim unless they win the last two games of the year.
