Mark Chesnutt Coming Back To Lake Charles In April
Country music's Mark Chesnutt is hitting the road this year for a new tour and one of the stops on that tour will be right here in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Chesnutt had back surgery last year which sidelined the country singer for a few months but he is now recovered and is ready to hit the road and play for his fans and that includes you Southwest Louisiana.
Mark Chesnutt was born right down the road about 45 minutes from Lake Charles. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, and cut his teeth playing the honky tonks in Southeast Texas before signing his first record deal in Nashville in 1990 with MCA.
That is when Mark released his first single To Cold At Home which vaulted into the top 5 on the country charts and there was no looking back after that.
He then released a string of monster hits like Brother Jukebox, Blame It On Texas, Your Love Is A Miracle, Old Flames Have New Names, I'll Think Of Something, Bubba Shot The Jukebox, Ol' Country, It Sure IS Monday, Almost Goodbye, I Just Wanted You To Know, Goin' Through Big D, Gonna Get A Life, and It's A Little Too Late.
We could keep going but you get the drift. Mark Chesnutt has a ton of great songs and number-one hits in his career. So when you go to the concert, get ready to sing along with Mark all night long.
Mark Chesnutt will be at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Friday, April 28, 2023. The show will start at 8:30 pm. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 27th, 2023.
