Yesterday's finish was one of the Cowboys most exciting finishes ever. It all started with the Cowboys down 3 runs (6-3) when the bottom dropped out of the sky. That resulted in a ninety minute rain delay. The Cowboys scored 2 two out runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie the game then won in the tenth. That completed the weekend sweep that left the Cowboys 23-19 on the season and 13-8 in league play.

If you have not been a part of this year's Cowboy Baseball season you are really missing out. The Pokes host Southern for "School Field Trip Day" this Wednesday. It's a "businessman's special" with the first pitch at noon.
