The popular Movies Under The Stars Spring edition got underway on March 31st when it took place at Prien Lake Park. They skipped last week due to the Good Friday and Easter holiday but it makes its return this Friday night, April 14 In Lake Charles.

This week, Movies Under The Stars is presented by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury in partnership with the MSU Banners Series. This week, the movie that will be shown is Inside Out. According to the Police Jury,

This 2015 Disney-Pixar comedy adventure is about a young girl, Riley (Kaitlyn Dias), who has a hard time when she and her family move from the Midwest to San Francisco, where her father has taken another job. Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness -- who live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind. Her struggles cause turmoil when all the emotions conflict on how best to help Riley adapt to her new life (Rated PG).

This Week's Movies Under The Stars will actually be inside this Friday night. The movie will be shown at McNeese State University’s Bulber Auditorium which is located at 4205 Ryan Street In Lake Charles.

There are still two more installments of Movies Under The Stars scheduled to take place. The next one is on Friday, April 21st at Mallard Junction Park and the movie that will be shown is The Lorax.

The last installment will take place on Friday, April 28th at River Bluff Park. The movie that night will be Encanto.
