Sheriff’s Senior’s Fishing Derby September 19th

Get up early for the Annual Senior Citizen’s Fishing Derby with lines hitting the water at seven on September 19th at the CSPO farm pond behind the correctional facility at  5400 E. Broad Street in Lake Charles. You'll have to reel in the last one before the derby ends at eleven a.m.. The fishing derby is open to all seniors above the age of 55 with special help available baiting lines and pulling fish off of hooks for those who need it. You are ask to bring your own fishing gear (one line per person.) Bait shrimp and refreshments will be provided. For more details call 263-4563.
