Do you or someone you know need a summertime job? Sulphur Parks and Recreation (SPAR) will be holding a job fair tomorrow.

Obliviously, a summertime job is perfect for teens or college students on summer break, but with many layoffs in SWLA due to the pandemic, this is a great way to supplement some income until the economy gets going again here at home.

Park Maintenance Manager Troy Gayle told KPLC part-time employees play a vital role in the operations of SPAR. He said there is a lot of grass to mow and weeds to eliminate before the park opens up later this summer. They also fill important roles around the park like like park maintenance, lifeguards, and swim instructors.

Human Resource Supervisor Natalie Bowers told KPLC SPAR is also hiring positions in all departments like golf, aquatics, fitness, water park, food service, park maintenance, and sports.

Over 100 people will be hired to fill these positions. SPAR will be holding a job fair tomorrow (4/6/21) from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at their facility located at 933 West Parish Rd in Sulphur. Their job fair is open to ages 16 and older. You don't have to attend the job fair to be hired.

You can apply at SPAR's website by clicking here. For more information, call 337-527-2500.
