Spring Art Walk Featuring the Buddy Russ Bus

This Friday, April 26, will be the Arts and Humanities Council of SWLA Spring Art Walk. It features local musicians, artists, businesses, and, of course, food! The free event takes place in beautiful Downtown Lake Charles and is fun for all ages. Live music will be featured on two stages, Ryan/Broad and Ryan/Pujo. That's where the Buddy Russ Bus comes in. It will be the stage for local musicians and groups at Ryan and Pujo.

The Spring Art Walk will also feature the Art War Competition. Teams will have an hour to create a mural in front of onlookers. Styles can be any that the artists choose: paint, chalk, and even graffiti. The winner is chosen by the audience by way of tip money. The team with the most tips at the end of the hour will be the winner!

Bring your shopping bags and stroll down Ryan street as you look at art and jewelry from local artists. The weather will be beautiful, and you certainly won't leave empty-handed!
