Yesterday, the state of Missouri lifted its ban on large events and gatherings. The gatherings, sporting events, and live events will be held to some strict guidelines. Residents of the state will be allowed to attend these events, but will need to follow social distancing. Seating for these events will be lessened so that each patron will be able to sit separate from each other. Movie theaters and stadiums will have to cut down their capacity in order to adhere to these guidelines.

The Department of Health is encouraging the six feet apart rule for these events, and will not be as strict as other retail businesses. The state no longer has any regulations on the amount of people able to gather, but that they all must fit in the space with the ability to be six feet apart.

The lift most affects smaller cities, with the larger ones in Missouri still mostly under more strict guidelines. Mayor Lyda Krewson took to Twitter to help with the new regulations being put in place.
