Swimming And A Movie In Lake Charles This Weekend June 30

During the Summertime, sometimes it is difficult to find things to do for your kids. In Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana, it's even more challenging because you also have to deal with the hot weather in our area.

Most parents and caregivers look for things that are going on inside you and the kids can beat the heat. Most folks look for things like arcades, waterparks, event-type businesses, and going to the movies. You can only go do that so long before you break the bank.

Good news, we found something super fun for you and your kids to do for absolutely FREE. Ward 3 Recreation is holding a really cool event called Pool Night At The Movies. Yep, you heard us right, pool and a movie! It is taking place at the Ward 3 Recreation complex located at 3210 Power Centre Parkway in Lake Charles.

The movie that will be featured will be Trolls.  You can head out to the recreation complex and enjoy free pizza, popcorn, and sodas for everyone that attends. You can watch the movie while splashing and swimming, and most importantly stay cool. Remember you will need to have proper swim attire.
