If you were looking up yesterday, you might have seen a strange object floating on by. It is the Carnival Cruise Line Blimp. The 135-foot long airship was originally built to show off the brand and celebrate Carnival's partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Carnival became a partner with them and flew the ship at various ports of call around the nation encouraging people that saw it to take a picture and use a certain hashtag to enter for a chance to win a free vacation.

Now, the blimp flies around the nation to make various stops throughout for marketing and special events. This time, it is floating by the SWLA area toward its destination to the Super Bowl in Miami on February 2.
