This Thursday, March 24, there will be a temporary disruption of local water services that will affect several streets in the area of the West Prien Lake Road widening project. The shut-off will begin Thursday morning at 9 a.m. and is expected to last between 8 to 10 hours.

This is being done to assist the contractors to finish a water line relocation and tie-ins that are necessary for the project. Here are the following areas that are expected to be affected due to the work being done.

  • Kiwanis Lane
  • West Prien Lake Road, from Cove Lane to Park Drive
  • West Prien Lake Road, from Cove Lane to Adrianne Lane
  • Burton Lane, from West Prien Lake Road to Francis Drive
  • Arvilla Lane
  • Magnolia Lane
  • Edgewood Lane
  • Park Drive

Immediately following the restoration of the water service, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in place for customers on the above-listed streets. The boil is expected to last for 24 hours at which time the city is expected to lift the boil advisory following notification of water samples collected and tested.
