My life has slowed down to a crawl at this point. Course, so have all of our lives. Until this point, all I have even known was to "blow and go." Events to MC, concerts to watch, charities to participate in. Needless to say, this slowdown has been a blessing and a curse.

At first, it was nice to be able to slow down and relax. Realizing I could enjoy an actual weekend off, not worrying about my calendar on my phone. Not worrying about if I forgot to go to an event.

After a week or so of that, I became really bored. I live alone, so no social interaction has been really hitting hard. At the radio station, our shifts are now spread out so much that if I get to see another human being at work, it's for a brief second in the parking lot.

One of my best friends got married. We started the Jeep club together and he asked me to, not only be a groomsman, but to MC his wedding reception. The wedding was beautiful and one of the most fun weddings i have MCed in a while. It was an honor to be asked to be a small part of their big day.

I began thinking about the old days. The beginning of the year when everything was busy! We had St. Jude, Mardi Gras, concerts. I started looking through pictures in my phone from the beginning of 2020 to now and it made me appreciate those events, but also appreciate the time to slow down. It also gave me hope that things will get back to normal soon.

I figured I would share with you a few photos from my phone of the last few months, pre-social distancing and current.
