Things To Do In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend Dec. 15-17

We are getting awful close to Christmas y'all and that means you have been running around like crazy trying to finish up your shopping while juggling work, the kids, bills, and other adult stuff you don't want to do anyway.

Now it is time to take a little break and have some time for yourself and/or your family and just throw all that to the side for one day and just have some fun. That is where we come in. Here are some fun things going on all over Southwest Louisiana this weekend.

Come meet Santa today at the Johnson Firm from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Lake Charles for their Christmas In The Courtyard. We will be out there broadcasting live and giving you a chance to win a four-pack of tickets to the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas.  Here is more info.

Are you ready to do some dancing and get your Cajun and Zydeco on? Lil Nate will be performing Friday night at Cowboys Night Club in Lake Charles. Doors will open at 9:00 p.m. and Nate will hit the stage at 10:00 p.m. Click here for all the details.

Kevin Barton will be performing live at The Boardwalk Friday night starting at 7:00 p.m. located in the same shopping center as ManCave off of East McNeese Street in Lake Charles.

Vinton City Hall is having its Christmas Events at the parking lot at 1321 Horridge Street by Farmhouse Market on Friday, December 15th starting at 4 p.m. They will have a Christmas Scavenger Hunt and children can take their picture with Santa. Don't worry about dinner because there will be food trucks along with vendors and a ton of family fun. From what we hear, it probably will be snowing in Vinton that night at 6:00 p.m.
