Today Is National Pizza Day And Here Are Toppings You Hate Most
Most people love pizza, or should I dare to say everyone loves pizza. In Southwest Louisiana, we have a lot of pizza places to choose from and a few new ones that have popped up in our area.
You can go for your national chains like Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Little Caesars. A bunch of locals opt for locally owned pizza joints like Tony's Pizza, Rotolo's Pizza, LIT Pizza, or Pizza Artista, just to name a few. Some of the newer pizza places even allow you to build you own pizza with unique toppings native to Louisiana like a boudin pizza.
Some of the most popular toppings on a pizza are, of course, pepperoni followed by extra cheese, sausage, onions, and bacon. Also, we found that more people are opting for thin crust pizza over regular crust, deep dish, or pan.
Now the toppings most of us hate are anchovies, eggplant, artichokes , broccoli, spinach, and pineapple to name a few. Just reading over this list, it seems like most of us want a meaty, cheesy pizza over a healthier option. I mean, when you are going to break your diet, you definitely don't want all that healthy garbage on your pie.
So today if you're going to eat out for lunch or dinner, celebrate National Pizza Day by overindulging with a big cheesy meaty pizza and then deal with your guilt later. If you get a chance, make sure to support our locally pizza eateries.
