Tropical Storm Isaias Likely Not to Be a Threat to the Gulf
Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to make a northward turn after it runs through the Caribbean islands and continues along the east coast.
TS Isasis is currently tracking NW moving at a speedy 20mph. Once it starts to run across the Caribbean islands, the National Hurricane Center expects the storm to weaken when it impacts the very high mountains in the Dominican Republic later today.
The NHC expects there to be a near zero percent chance the storm will enter the Gulf of Mexico.
That's great news because the last thing we need to do is spend our money on a possible evacuation. We'll keep our eye on the storm over the weekend and make any necessary updates if the track turns to the Gulf.
