If you listen to our show in the morning, you know I am a huge supporter of our locally owned businesses in Southwest Louisiana, and one of my favorites is Wok D'lite in Lake Charles.

My tradition is to go to Wok D'lite every Monday for lunch after work. I call them Wok D'lite Mondays. My friends even clown me because I am a picky eater and don't really like vegetables, so my order is a C4 (pepper steak) with no vegetables and extra meat and an extra egg roll.

Well, 2020 wasn't kind for a lot of local businesses in SWLA, and for our friends over at Wok D'lite In Lake Charles, they were closed during the pandemic and then after Hurricane Laura. They haven't been open since.

But good news, Southwest Louisiana. Wok D'lite took to their Facebook page yesterday to announce they will be reopening the restaurant this Friday, January 8.

Wok D'lite is a Chinese restaurant in Lake Charles that has been in the lake area for many years and enjoyed by many. One of the things that make them terrific is that they make your order as soon as you order it, so it is always hot, fresh, and delicious.

They are located at 339 East Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles just east of Ryan Street. They will have new hours from 10:30am to 9:00pm Monday through Saturday and be closed on Sundays.

Make sure to look for me because I will be in line to get me some!
