43rd Anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown Victory at Belmont Stakes [VIDEO]

Secretariat became the first horse to win a Triple Crown in 25 years when he won the Belmont Stakes on June 9, 1973. His race records from the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont still stand.

Even on the old 21 inch TV's back then, you could see the difference in the muscularity of Secretariat. I can't even imagine how beautiful Big Red would have looked on a big screen HD TV of today or in person.

Best horse in my lifetime for sure!!!
